I just can't see spending $1000 on a top of the line Weber. I usually go to Home Depot at the end of the summer, and get a deal on a $400 grill for $200. Get about 5 years out of them, then replace. I remember having that same grill posted, MANY years ago!

Thankfully it didn't happen in November!!!!! Looks like you have a couple other trees close by though, to keep that spot a #1 .

A truly great player. A certain Hall Of Famer. Too bad he played on a team I despise.

Only a firefighter can appreciate a cake like that!!!

7th Annual Banquet
grampy replied to Culvercreek hunt club's topic in Greater Rochester Southern Tier QDMA
Sounds like a great event! I'll have to mark it on my calendar, and try to attend next year! Definitely good company. -
A few groups later. Tightened it up a bit with a small sight adjustment. Even broke a nock. Still a long way to go. But I haven't enjoying shooting this much in years.

Great shooting with, and by your daughter Larry! Congratulations on winning that sweer AR ! Nice!

First shots taken outside, with my new to me Obsession Phoenix, purchased from moog. Got lots of time to really dial it in before October 1st. But I'm very happy with the starting point! Hopefully the end point, will be with it laying on a deer this year. I Absolutely Love This Bow!!! So comfortable, smooth and quiet. A HUGE step up from my 19 year old Mathews!

Went out a few times between 10 and 1 and didn't see any Aurora Borealis activity at all. But it was a beautiful clear night. And I wished on a shooting star. I enjoyed my time out there just the same.

Great buck (love those brow tines)!!!! And as always, Jason did a beautiful mount! I hope that I can kill one really BIG one before hanging up my hunting hat some day. And have WNY Bowhunter do the mount for me.

Turkey hunting has never been a passion for me like deer hunting. Though I do enjoy it. And I've killed a number of birds, and became quite proficient at calling them in. Over the years, I've called in many more for others than I have for myself. Most were first timers or youths. Though my hunting partner Gary has got a few of them too. Feels just as good to me, calling them in for someone else, as shooting them myself. At times even better!

I'll be out hoping to see them tonight ! Ever since reading Jack London stories as a kid I've wanted to see them! Have see faint traces of them here a time or two over the years. Looks like a good chance tonight, in the NW sky. Fingers crossed. Oh and.......Happy Birthday Jen!!!

where to hunt coyotes around Albany area
grampy replied to Shawn1878's topic in Small Game and Predator Hunting
Check out the Partridge Run area. Lots of acreage and lots of coyotes. -
I too have a 06 Frontier, with 178K on it and still going strong. Tows my fiberglass pro style bass boat no problem. We just purchased another vehicle (chevy equinox) so my Frontier will now only be used for hunting and fishing. Need to do some body work on the rust spots this spring. But overall I have done nothing but maint. work, and no major repairs on it. It doesn't owe me a dime. It's been a great little truck for me.

I'm sure all the "famous" people like Bionic, get weird fan mail like this all the time!

Happy Birthday Otto!!!

As long as no laws are broken, I don't have a problem with how another hunter kills. We each have our own built in ethics. What is right for one, may not be for another. That's ok. To each their own. Way too much bickering amongst us as a group. United We Stand. Divided We Fall. A side note....... My second biggest buck, was shot in his bed, after tracking him in a blizzard in 1986. One of my most memorable deer hunts ever. I am still proud to tell the story of that hunt. After all these years I still remember every detail vividly. One of my proudest moments as a hunter.

This is 28 inches. I just bunji it to my pack, or put it inside. Works great.

I left the snow shovels in the garage. Got the snowblower still gassed up. The boat is where it's been all winter. And haven't touched a fishing rod yet. We are only getting an inch or so of snow here!

Yes sir.....This one is on you Rob!!!! C'mon man......

Nice Truck! Congrats!!

I really hate them crawly little so and so's!!!! Sawyers.......is what I've found the best for keeping them at bay. Nothing is 100% though. So always do a check before showering, if you have been outside.
