  1. Think I'll just wait till conditions improve a bit.
  2. Nice! That WNY bowhunter, sure does beautiful work! And that moog sure had a great deer season! Cudo's to you both for a job well done!
  3. Perhaps no autograph seekers for Van Gundy. But I can see the paparazzi going nuts over that big lug from Hunting NY!......lol
  4. Hey, if ya got it, flaunt it!! He is a "woody" in more than just name!
  5. Saw Derek a few times with the Allman's. An amazing player!
  6. Happy Birthday Biz! Only the best, top shelf stuff coming at ya today! Enjoy!
  7. Hunting and real honest hunters are alive and well! It really doesn't matter weather you decide to enter a buck into the book, or not. As long as you can be honest with yourself about the motivation to do so. They just don't come more honest than this guy moog. And some others on here. Makes me proud to hang around you guy's, and gals. I need to read more on Fred Bear. He truly was ahead of his time. And timeless. His words of wisdom ring as true today, as ever before.
  8. I never felt the need to see my name in a book, to know I killed a good buck. I just knew, he was a good one for me. And that's always been good enough. Except for family and a few friends, no one has seen these bucks. I'm good with that too. They will never mean as much to anyone else, as they do to me. And as I've only been using trail cams for a couple years, I've never had one of the good ones on cam first.
  9. Yes, shoot it!! Sure is pretty too!

    I'm all set

Good luck Paula! Where you going fishing, and what are you fishing for? Can't wait to get out there soon myself!
  11. So cool to be able to see and hear them from the homestead! Will you be going after them with your young hunter, during the youth weekend?
  12. Good luck out there Nanook! Have fun and keep safe!
  13. Nice job! I think it looks cool as heck!
  14. Awesome!! I'd say you are ready! So much respect for the traditional archers. The time and effort put in to it, really shows the dedication, that will reap huge rewards. Very cool!
  15. Happy Birthday sir's! May the best of everything, fall at your feet today! Soak it all in and enjoy!
  16. Great news! So happy for you! I know the feeling. Two time surviver here.
  17. Been shooting the blazers too, for a few years now. Still have the WB rest. And they shoot great so I see no reason to change. Over the years, I've used feathers with helical, three and four inch plastic vanes. But these blazers, are by far the best I've used. Durable, accurate and forgiving.
  18. Way to go maytom!!!! Everything I've heard about that bow has been glowing. My buddy shot one and raved about it. My current bow is a 17 year old MQ-32. When I finally upgrade, the Halon will be my choice. Good luck with your new bow. No doubt, it will bring you years of smiles!
  19. I'll be taking my soon to be 13 year old grandson, and possibly a co-worker and his 14 year old daughter. Just have not been seeing or hearing many birds on our farm property so far. But there are some. Added challenge I guess!
  20. 30 pages now! Has anyone changed their point of view, by the content of 30 pages of he said, she said, this way, that way, and no way? Didn't think so. Carry on............................................................................ Yes, this is a hunting forum, open to discuss hunting related topics. But sometimes, the topic denigrates to the point of the proverbial dog chasing it's tail. I think valid points were made for both sides of the discussion in the first 10 pages. Guess I'll cruise on over to the beer or food thread...........................................................
  21. Just a 18' bass boat. So yeah it would have pulled it. Would have been a solid 2nd car for years with no car payment! But as usual, grampy's a day late and dollar short!.........smile
  22. If I thought it could pull my boat, I'd have been all in on this great deal!
  23. Congratulations to Jordan Lee! On winning the Bassmaster Classic! This young man came from way behind on day one, and dealt with a broken motor (lower unit), on the final day, then had to hitch a ride early to weigh in! Way to deal with adversity and keep your head in it to win it! The future of big time bass fishing looks bright!
