Not unless you count my fall restraint device. I was just in my hunting pants and longjohns long sleeve tee. I was trying to get to a tree stand and dont wear the gillie up in the stand.

This is my neighbor up by my place. He shot the deer at 6 feet! Yes six feet. Was on the ground in some heavy stuff and had one opening. This deer came by and he missed the first shot. Deer was wondering off and he only had the buck growl with him and it worked. Deer walked right back to him. Six feet shot was right through the neck. He is a hell of a shot with that recurve. His face is concealed because I didn't ask him if I could post the picture. Nice 1.5 year old!

Parksville NY doe. Hunted saturday evening in a super thick set of woods that I saw deer go into that morning. Right on que as it started getting dark I could hear feet all around me but could not see anything with all the leaves still on the trees. Finally this doe appeared 15 yards away in a small window of opportunity. Shot and the the Nocturnal lighted nock dissapeared into the outline of her body, and than the woods exploded with deer and had 3 deer run under me in the direction of this deer. I got down and just went back to the house. After dinner we waited and went back into the woods about 1030pm and found my arrow which smelled very strong, but clean of blood with white hair all around. I soon turned and saw her bedded down 40yards away looking at us. We tunred off the lights and backout out silently. It started raining heavy at 3am and I could not sleep thinking that she was going to get up and run without me being able to follow a blood trail. Headed back out at 6:50am and found her dead where we had seen her the previous night. I hit the back of the lung and part of the liver and put a tiny whole in the stomach which is where the smell was from, but not much gut excapted into the cavity which was good. Im shooting 70lbs with slicktrick mag 100gr broadheads, on beeman ics shafts with nocturnal lighted nocks. You can see the entrance wound in the first photo and the exit in the second, lower then I would have liked but a good kill non the less.

I dont mean to be rude its a very nice kill but I feel its kind of disrespectful to hang by the neck you owe them the most respect for providing us with this great sport hang by the back legs

Who doesnt enjoy a good ole' fashion hangin!?! Just playin, i think u can hang your deer as u wish, me personally i do back legs, dont want all those juices gettin soaked up in my tenderloins

Sounds kind of funny, but taking a pic in the back of the truck and actually hanging a deer is my most favorite part of hunting outside of the camraderie.

Not much beats that final lug and toss into the bed, out of breath from the drag with a buddy, and you take a seat on the tailgate and get your pic snapped. Sure, not exactly the most magazine-quality setting, but really, that's what I'm going to remember most.Then you get to string it up...to me that's really the final chance you get to admire your acccomplishment...take a step back and say "Yeah, I enjoyed nature, made a good shot, and had a memorable time with a friend or family member."

Hanging by head or legs...to me, matters not. The beast is slain and it's time to reap the reward.

Thanks ya'll for the congrats. By the way, i personally have no problems with how you hang em'. I have always done legs up but i don't know anyone that somehow equates hanging by the neck with being dis-respectful to the deer. Seems to me to be just whatever you were brought up doing.. Looks like a great and memerable hunt to me. Congrats.

I couldn't care less how they're hung, but one thing did grab my attention on that post. "Right on que, as it started getting dark", is the one that grabbed my attention. We all know the sun sets well before it starts getting dark........
