I also heard that your sporting licenses will be linked to your drivers license....I am guessing there will be a fee with this option.

only for lifetime licenses and if you so desire.

....that's what I was told anyway

for a supersportsman it's a dollar cheaper but instead of getting one thing I've got to get them all.  a little cheaper for buying single licenses but I remember when it was only $19 for a big game license.  it's nothing spectacular and not saving much as a resident.  non-residents will be happy though. idk

I used to gt stamps when I first started hunting. Was so long ago but I beleive you had to sign across the stamp as well?

I still have all my papers with my stamps somewhere.

And everything was on that 1 piece of paper other the your back tag and a party permit if you got one,Not that roll of toilet paper junk you get now.And if you have a life time lic. and apply for Archery and MZ. loader you get a duplicate and another roll of toilet paper.Someone must have relatives in DECALS,paper companies and ink and printer companies. Well that's progress in the computer world.

I don't see the screw job in the new system that people are complaining about, The only problem I see is that non residents are getting a bigger break than the residents, and I'm pretty sure your drivers license was always linked to your hunting license.......in the past if I didn't have an old license when I bought my new one, my drivers license was all they needed to look me up.

Has only been linked since using this new system where you get the wad of tags to put in your pocket...lol. When we had the stamps it wasn't.

The Non-resident cuts are the ones that piss me off. Give the people that aren't burdened with NY's crazy taxes the break on the licenses. That seems fair. I actually like the a la carte feature of this.  It could save guys that don't hunt everything of fish a break.

So if you put the Lifetime Sporting Icons on your Drivers License would you need to carry any other paper work while you are afield?

Geeze you guys are never happy about anything! A dollar ain't enough! This has to be a conspiracy! Out of state hunters are gonna come here an buy all our ammo! The sky is falling!

No wonder all the non gun owners are afraid of us!

P.S. I wear a tin foil hat while hunting under a camo one of course!

800,000 people save one dollar each and the conservation fund losses $800,000 annually. In ten years each hunter saves ten dollars and the fund losses 8 MILLION DOLLARS!

I am about sick of repeating myself about the idiots running the show... And I don't mean  Albany or Washington... And I don't mean the DEC either... Guess again...
