chrisw
Had steak grilled, mashed taters, and garlic scapes . Wife and I had never had them . Looked them up on the net . We decided to saute them in olive oil pepper and salt. Served them with a twist of lemon . Was pretty tasty . Note to anybody that has never done them , cut the seed pod off with tips and discard as they are very woody . The good parts had the texture of asparagus with a hint of garlic taste. Rather mild but tasty. Looking forward to garlic harvest .. another month or so I guess .Funny you say this, I cut the scapes off of my garlic last night and ate them for the first time. Pretty good! They tasted like a garlic/green onion hybrid to me. I ate them raw though too. Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk

Robhuntandfish
Picked some Swiss chard from the garden (first pick from the garden this year) and tossed in a little olive oil, minced garlic, bacon pieces and put it over a venison burger. It's was great.

corydd7
Thanks for posting the steak chart Biz, tenderloin was perfect. Beef tenderloin, brined and grilled chicken breast, grilled scapes, potato salad, mushrooms and some stupid veggie my wife makes me eat. Scape pesto on chicken was pretty darn good. Ice cold coca cola not pictured, hope their stock doesn't go down.
