What's for dinner tonight?

So nice out today. So I'm grilling up some NY strip steaks along with grilled onions and twice baked garlic potatoes. And a side of home grown green beans from last year. For desert, my wife made the grandsons favorite, chocolate chip cookies!

Al-E-Oops.

Ever heard of that joint Jay?

:)

Wife and I had an early dinner there tonight. Beer batter fish for me, broiled for her. (maybe THAT'S why women live longer?)

ha , sure have. Drive to work and home past it for 22 years. It's a shame you couldn't have meat today on Good Friday. Assorted BBQ platter is to die for.

I figured as much...........

Been there only one other time I think, we went with a bunch of couples 6-7 years ago.  NO fish THAT night. :)

Speaking about BBQ,  Kentucky Greg's has always been a winner in my book.

I tried something new tonight. Had a package of stew beef I pulled out of the freezer last night to start to thaw. I was going to use it for a beef pot pie. I decided I didn't want pot pie, I wanted beef tips, never used stew beef for this before. So I floated to get the beef thawed faster, coated with my homemade rub and let it marinade in the rub for 8 hours ( when you aren't sleeping you have spare time ). Sautéed with some fresh garlic and a little EVO. I was shocked! It came out great and was super tender.

Served it with pirogies and steamed peas.

Yea, weird. I always wondered why you put your cousins first name and the cubic inches of the worst engine Ford ever made in your handle here??

:)

I'm actually a female (second from left) but did not want my PM box full of pm's from creepy downstaters .

Well then who in the hell was the imposter that met me for chicken wings and what would a chick like you want with climbing sticks?
