Axis deer leg steak, baked potato, and stir-fried cabbage, REALLY digging on the Axis deer, gonna shoot another one next time I go to Texas. Cheated and bought an apple crumb pie at the store, will have that with a scoop of ice cream a little later tonight.

axis versus whitetail?  What's different and what do you prefer overall?

Axis reminds me of moose or caribou....less wild and bloody tasting than whitetail. My $.02, anyway. Downside is they are usually smaller than a whitetail.

Baked Cesar chicken breasts,spiral butternut sauteed with sweet onion,yellow pepper,roasted red pepper,Apple,garlic and seseme oil,tossed salad and steamed peas.

Momma went out with the girls for her friends birthday ,so... i had some chicken nuggets ,Archer had Mangos and a gourmet blend of  pears,zucchini and peas. Rupert had dry kibble.
