Fished my tree stand

finally finished my stand. Made it from left overs from my new roof. Left,right and front windows are 2'hx4'w. Back window is 2x2. Now to take it to camp and get it in the tree. Im staying dry this year.

If you place it early the deer will get used to it and the noise will keep you awake lol. Good luck it looks good.

I put a layer of foam Between the osb and the metal. I sat on n it while it was raining a week ago and it wasn't bad. Most of my sitting in the spot where it is going is when there is snow

Looks more like a blind then a stand. I would spray a few lines of at least some green on that to break it up just a little.

On the one hand, the lack of windows will completely conceal any movement.  On the other hand, it will make it very difficult to kill a deer.

nice stand I built mine and a old hay wagon put where we wanted it and finished closeing it in used it last year was great! hope yours works as well

Old hay wagons work pretty darn good for blinds.  My buddy and I built this one on a farm in PA. that we hunt each year. We've killed a few bucks and a few doe out of it while staying relatively dry on some really lousy days.

That's the thing, to a deer it just does NOT look like a fat guy and a gun is lurking in there.

I don't know about PA. but here in New York, I always considered a hay wagon a motor vehicle, by definition anyways. Being pulled by a motor vehicle and all. Pull it with a team of horses, maybe not.

Its not a motor vehicle until you put something attached to it to move it. I do think even in NY and thats where I am also,  you can use a trailer for a stand but it cannot be attached to anything motorized.
