Core
Drinking monster before getting in was a bad idea. Already dumped two water bottles to pee and it's only 10am. All misspellings courtesy of iPhone Everything I read says just pee off the stand. The deer don't care, might even like it. I assume that a #2 is a different matter, though. No 33 yrds with a thunderhead 100gr...switched from the G5 because I didn't like the lack of blood...Well I hit a bit back but came out his opposite arm pit cutting his lower leg...never found my arrow...sure buried in the muck and water...he barely went 20 yards...Right through the worst of the rose and swamp..no problem with that track he was gushing blood every where...so wasn't happy about the 700ft drag through that...then we got the winch from the Gator and pulled him the last 100 ft...Wow it was such a great!!!! hunt...but maybe I will think twice about that stand again...IT was hell getting him out of there and we both look like we went through a shredder..he is packed in mud. After almost stroking out on Sunday hauling mine I started looking at how to quarter a deer in the field in case I am in the same situation in the future. What a spectacular shot, though.

Steuben Jerry
Live from the office. A group of fine does just came by on their way to the breakroom, and the young bucks in the hall are starting to act stupid. Man, I should've taken today off!

It's so they can be used as a ground blind as well. All misspellings courtesy of iPhone
Kot2B
Midday hunt cut short, caught two trespassers scoping out my gun stand... Back to the shop to get a new lock and cable. Love how they were all nonchalant about it like oh we were just checking the land out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Kot2B
No, I hunt 500 acres of privately owned land with 2 other guys. We had 2 trespassers on Saturday on 4 wheelers, probably the same guys. They snuck in off the back side of the property with black masks on. They were pointing to my stand and talking. They were completely surprised that I showed up asking who they were. My bow stand is only 200 yards away from my gun stand so I watched them walk all the way to it. I really would have been ticked, I haven't even got the chance to sit in it yet as my wife just bought it for Christmas Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
DirtTime
Thanks....around 40 now..but only one swamp stand...this explains the short blood trail...Thought the shot was too far back..guess not! The Gator fires up great...saying knocking on wood...being superstious pays off...it certainly did today! Awesome shooting grow! Congrats on two deer in what? Three days? Nothing more to say but awesome and congrats.

CFHunter
In the blind, light rain, should be done around the same time as sunrise.
