Covering the bases for you here Culver.  I have some buddies in 8G that had a hell of a morning this morning.  Three dandies as you can see in the picture.  The big one on the left was gut shot at 83 yards by my buddy Wilbur with his bow and then the buck ran off towards my other buddy Jethro where he put him down at 583 yards with his 8th shot from his .300 Remington Ultra Magnum across several corn fields.  Wilbur was a bit pissed at Jethro for claiming that buck, but it all ended well when Jethro promised to give Wilbur his wifes buck tag to use during the gun season.

I actually heard of someone that dropped a nice 9 in Livonia yesterday. Yep, thats 8H. I dont know the person, or if its true, but I dont doubt it.

Not if it was shot where I heard it was. 8H and 8N are in the doe only zone. 8J is not, and part of Livonia is in 8J. Where I heard was near the North end of town, kind of near the South Lima area.

Yep all you'll have to do is go to the local feed store or mail person to hear the stories that will be coming in. I'm carrying red survey tape with me ...not for tracking(I use TP for that)...to mark the gut pile if there is to be one...that's so if I get stopped with feet sticking out of my trunk, I can take them to the proof...lol Ya thinking ahead

Eddie, it will be happening. I can't even begin to tell you how many people I talked to had no idea about this regulation. It blows my mind how many go prepare for or start a season without reading the regulations. But as we see on here, it happens every year.
