hoss of a buck.  definitely seems mature.  I'm sure you'll find lots of dentine width for each molar on that one.  plus the infundibulum on a molar or two should be pretty much gone.  awesome buck with character.  congrats!

205lbs dressed AND witnessed.

 

I'd have honestly thought more but am thankful he wasn't TOO much heavier...................I'd have started eating him right there & then to lighten the load.

I remember that like it was yesterday!!  I've been more choosy since then but I think it's due to the fact that the trail cam has showed me what is (or SHOULD be) hanging out.  Funny though, most of the bigger deer I've shot (like the buck above!) I've never laid eyes on until I corked 'em.

 

I'll always be a lover of the lowly spiker!!
