philoshop
Dead snake. Be nice to them, because they eat bugs and make the girls jump outta their bikinis into your arms.

Pygmy
It's a garter snake. Or it WAS in it's former life... It's probably a liberal Democrat now.

Rockspek
at my old house we had a major mouse and chipmunk problem. Farmers nasty barn 50 yards away was rat infested. One morning I stepped out the door to go to work and pretty much stepped on a black rat snake. It was decent sized but never measured it. it was there most mornings sunning itself. No more rodent problems after that until someone dropped off a cat that was a killer and killed the 7' long snake. good thing she could kill the rodents too. We moved and kept the cat.

BizCT
You HAD no mice issues because you have snakesLol doubt it. Probably the skunk, opposum, woodchuck etc preventing mice from coming around. I don't know of anyone with mice problems in the area.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm curious if it's a garter or copperhead. How can you tell when it's so small?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

DirtTime
OK, all joking aside. Do they have copperheads on LI or in NYC?
BizCT
OK, all joking aside. Do they have copperheads on LI or in NYC? Idk about NYC or Long Island. But I live 35-40 miles north of NYC in Westchester and yes they have copperheads here. I grew up in Putnam county and used to see (and kill) copperheads in the woods from time to time.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
