I'm 2.5 hrs from the Capital region and close to 3 hrs from Buffalo. I'm screwed either way
Feb 26th I may be at Sahlens Sports Center for a tournament. Anyone close? Maybe grab a beer?

Ta hell with a pavilion in Albany, I'm only 50minutes north and we could have a range day shoot some skeet and drink all the beer we could want here. If guys are traveling a long ways you're more than welcome to bring tents.

I wish I had a better layout for a good range here or I'd offer up my place as well. Wish I had our old camp out in oneonta. 111 acres of pure sportsmans heaven that hosted multiple large "parties" over the years.

Never been disappointed and always have had a good time.

To be honest id be game but....I use to complain when my wife had a facebook acct and all the time she spent on it and all the stupid crap she would tell me about. If I told her I was going to meet some forum friends id never hear the end of that one.

Seeing this is already divided, and most folks are pretty firm on not leaving their region, why not start some threads in the "Camping And Hiking" section for the separate regions? Some great folks on this site I would like to meet and maybe learn something from, but, I too am of the ilk who won't travel 4-6 hours.

Met NFA-ADK, Shawnhu, Biz, 13BVET, Martin, Magnumhunt, Lungshot1971, Borngeegee, left field, and a few others who don't frequent the forum anymore.

 

I'm always open to meetup and was very disappointed that I had to miss one that was held in Long Island years ago.

 

I think we should break up the meetup into at least two if not 3 separate meetups.  A western zone, a southern zone, and a northern zone.  Even Albany is a 2 and a half hour drive for me and even that will probably deter a lot of the guys in Long Island or south eastern edges of New York City.  It'll definitely going deter many of those in the Buffalo/Rochester area.

I'd deffinetly be up for a meet and greet type of event especially in the Syracuse area, I have only met one member from the forum but he was a great guy and I expect most of the rest of you would be the same, it would be great to put some faces with some names!

I have a family reunion picnic at Sampson State park last weekend in July anyone interested in cracking a few cold ones that weekend? I'll be camping there for 4 days. Also, I'm all for trying to set up a regional meet and greet. Lawd, TF, and Real TC we should meet for Berbere wings and start the planning!
