Genius Game Warden

I was watching an episode of " North Woods Law"  the other night.

A bowhunter in Maine had hit and lost a buck and had contacted a warden to help him find a tracking dog service to try to recover his deer.

The warden asked the hunter how far away the deer was when the shot was taken..The hunter answered "Ten yards"...

The warden shook his head and said " Too CLOSE"...Then he proceeded to educate the poor ignorant bowhunter and tell him that at ten yards the arrow had not yet gained enough velocity to have sufficient " kinetic energy" to penetrate well...He said that ranges of 20 to 30 yards were optimum, presumably because by then the arrow had gained enough speed to have sufficient " kinetic energy"...

I decided that must be in Maine the arrows are rocket propelled so that they actually GAIN velocity after leaving the bow, rather than lose velocity like arrows in other states do.

I love those programs...There is SO much cool stuff to be learned from them.

Attached is a photo of the game warden when he attended grammar school.  He's the big boy with his legs crossed.  I guess we shouldn't expect much from the poor devil.  The other kids in the photo are all forum members here.  That's Growie in the first row with the note pad.

Idk. That was before my time, but the world is definitely flat. Shaq and Kyrie Irving concur.

Shaq just got added as a speaker at a convention I'm going to in April, I cannot wait to meet him. I have so many questions and I'll add this one lol

Well ya, the earth spinning at 1040 mph and clockwise and Maine being Far East it only makes sense My calculations show 24.6 yards to be optimum

It didn't have a built in calculator neither.  Notice the left big toe of the little girl next to her sticking up.  That was the extra toe/finger Grow needed to figure out the math problem the teacher just gave them.

It also appears that there is a boy with his head down on the desk in the very last row behind the other four boys.  I think that's Pygmy taking his nap.

They don't teach anything. Even small time D1 baseball players get "tutors" when they on long road trips. They all get good grades and never read a thing.

i saw this several months back and pretty much just sat in disbelief that they even put that on the air,,,, my question is WHAT was going through the bowhunters mind when he was being told that???  I don't know what my response woulda been but it most likely would not of made it on the air...LOL
