What a great day we had! Put over 40 bass in the boat. Weather was perfect. And my grandson and his best buddy had me laughing, from when I picked them up, to when I dropped them off. Best day I've had in a very long time. These guys keep me young! We already made plans for the next trip. If ya haven't done it in awhile, take a kid fishing! My grandson.His best friend.One happy grampy.

I finally made it out on the water. The boat still runs albeit 5mph is the speed limit in the Erie Canal. 

Yea, I’m fishing but mostly just out to run the boat and empty a few beer cans. 

Eyes peeled for da bear.......

That's just a great day right there.  After a looonggg day thatade me smile for sure!   Good for you getting out with them.  And your grandson looks like your spitting image.

Yesterday was our last day in the keys. We got small snapper, i lost a good shark. My son got a small nurse shark and a small rock hind. Countin down the days till next year already.

WNY heroes/ operation boots charity fishing event was a success. I was able to get "tuna Tim" on some nice Erie walleyes. Couple 6# and some 5,4,3 etc. I believe Tim left with 7 fish all but one was decent size. Tim wasn't interested in pics so we just fished and filled the box. Great day and I'm thankful iwas able to give back !!

Alarm is set for 5-AM. Hope to have first cast by 6. Wife divulged finally where we are going. Small public pond off, if I have it right, off Jefferson Road ( ? ). Looks kind of promising.

Baby rock bass - 1
Blue gills - 25 or so.

No perch which was surprising.

More pics to come, but we just filleted 191 cod, haddock and Pollock, tossed a ton back, had whales all over us today and the sea was dead flat!
