He had a 160" 9pt frame in '18. The '17 sheds had a broken brow but would have grossed around 152" as a mainframe 9pt.

He had a 160" 9pt frame in '18. The '17 sheds had a broken brow but would have grossed around 152" as a mainframe 9pt.

Pretty cool. Sometimes you hear of a buck blowing up like 30” in a year, but it seems this deer just kept a steady increase year after year

This kind of growth is most typically seen on TV on managed farms in Iowa. I've seen a few bucks makes jumps like that but most don't see too much growth after 4.5, at least not from my experience in this area. Although, on the same property that this deer was taken...there was another buck killed back in 2010 that went from a mid 140s class typical to a mid 190s typical in a single season!

Beautiful deer!  And its cool he's got the past sheds.
