Same buck? Opinions?

Im not good at this but my guess is if its same deer in 2016 he would have to be minimum 2.5 then making him atleast 5.5 now. I would think he would have a  massive body compared to 2016. So im going to say no. Nice deer regardless.

same buck - in 2016 he was a 3.5 and he has the same design rack but outside the ears now. Note the mark on his right ear in both pics. May even be going the other way and was larger last year.

not the same buck. similarities and then differences in character all the same. 2016 photo seems every bit 2.5 years old. despite not the best angle and still in velvet i'm going with 3.5 yrs old in the 2019 photo. not all bucks have to get giant at 5.5 years old. some bucks simply top out early and don't get that big. the buck in the 2019 photo is clearly bigger with more mass. still i don't think that's the case here.

I find it very interesting of deer genetics. Rarely at my brothers did we ever see a buck with brow tines.

I dont think its the same buck. They look to be about the same age and antler size. Id say its a son or relative of that deer

1st pic is great, second not so much.  Really need a clear pic of the lower deer.  I would say no based on the left front leg, white patch is a bit off.  Probably the same genes.  

Second factor.  Age: If that was a 2.5 in the first pic I think he would look larger in the newer pic but that is not the case even though it is a larger racked deer and probably older 3-4 range.  Also a profile would be better to age the top buck, hard to see the back, stomach and arch in that pose.

It does, but the body looks identical in the pics, which wouldnt be the case for a 6.5 year old. Even if hes on the downside

No that is one thing I keep up on. Cam is no good if time date and temp wrong..
