How old is this one?

Yes.  Something happened to the front leg that caused it to grow some type of deformity.  But not broken if it is walking on it.  Is the antler on the opposite side also deformed?  Often an antler on the opposite side of a deer's wounded side will also be deformed. I see it's missing the brow tine.

BTW I'd guess 3 years old at this time.

Crazy big for this time of year but is it me that this guys looks real banged up-right front leg, right eye look bulged, lots of “tumors” around his face and back in second pic.
I hope not cause he could get good!!!

Update- was able to take this buck last week. I followed this deer all year long.

Multiple factors, like antler base thickness, sagging belly,  gray face etc

I didn’t weight him. My taxidermist guess was 3.5 or 4.5
