Today first light cracked at 631am I marked it in my phone lol.

My phone / weather app says 6:52am sunrise on 10/1 for me. I'll likely leave house at 530am, park by 552am, 20-25min. slow walk in, zipped up in blind by 615-620am. with all the leaves on the trees i usually can't see till almost exactly sunrise anyway. but i've had deer stroll through before sunrise but usually can't see head even with 10x42's at under 50 yards

Both areas I plan to hunt have wind forecasted at 12 mph from the south west . Good for where the stands are placed . Forecast can change by opening morning . WEATHERBUG 

According to the chart in the Regs Booklet , sunrise wher I hunt would be 7:10 am .

We'll see if the weather holds, but if it stays as its forecasted, leaning towards making an early start, in stand by 5am.  That would be a 3am wakeup.

That's exactly what I was thinking.  I'm going to try and be settled in around 6am for opening  day.

Fridays plan as not hunting opening day..Already told my cousin to be at my place by 515,at property and walking out by 545,make sures hes in blind and good to go(his first sit for deer).should be in my stand by 615 at latest,LFG!

heck yes, i get out of work at 4 am, pot of coffee, and to the stand.

Hoping weather sticks to what it's calling for.  My best spots might be good to go.  Come on October 1st not getting here soon enough.  I'll be in stand an hour early because I won't sleep
