That may void the warranty, but i don't think that'd matter. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk

Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk I figure I'm going to run the drag rope through the four handles and drag from there , I think the small pull rope is probably useless and would rip through the plastic with too much weight ! cdbing
Good luck. That sounds like a good plan.Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
crappyice
Good idea...I always just strap the deer to the dragging implement and the pull rope around the head-not to the drag implement. Taking the time to make sure it is secured adequately saves time in the endSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
CharlieNY
I just bagged a large black bear in Maine on Tuesday. The outfitter uses a jet sled to drag bears out of the thick Maine woods and has used them for years. We dragged my bear out on one and I can't imagine how hard it would have been without one. valoroutdoors.com

fasteddie
I use to haul my deer with a Tobaggon sled until my son's bought me a Jet Sled . A pic of my Tobaggon sled and one of the Jet Sled . You can haul a couple deer with the Jet Sled .
cdbing
That photo is quite an endorsement of Jet Sled. I can only hope to have that (2 deer at the same time) problem. Ha.Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
Water Rat
I use the cart and the sled sometimes when I’m hunting or trapping. Obviously the sled works better in the snow , whereas the cart works better on bare ground.
Water Rat
I rather have an atv , but I can’t justify buying one with nowhere to ride it. Even her Imperial Majesty gave me the okay.
NYBowhunter
Use my jet sled for deer , hauling fire wood, pick up grass clippings..etc.... has endless uses and is very durable.

Otto
I would get the JSX, 66” x 31” It is not the biggest, but next size down.
crappyice
I have a metal deer cart I never use...too much work to walk back to get it to just walk back to use it. I feel the sled would be the same. The “taco” is strapped to my climber and always ready to be stuffed!!!!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
sodfather
I have a cart and a jet sled and have never used for a deer They work awesome for transporting goose and duck decoys
wolc123
I borrowed a snow jet once when my moto ski broke down. It was lighter and quieter.
Nomad
May try one . Carts suck, can’t fit a decent sized deer on one , balance point sucks ,unless you like dragging it hunched over ,the wheels blow , bog down in soft ground , forget about plowed ground , and it’s a struggle pulling it over logs . The only good thing is the walk to get its , a nice break from dragging ,then its a struggle all over again . A Christmas tree cart with pneumatic tires may be the ticket . A rope , time and stubbornness has worked for me for 40 some years ,although the time required has increased a bit .
fasteddie
I found the Jet Sled to be great at my spot in Geneseo . The woods are wet in the winter doesn't drain and hold the water The walls of the sled help keep the deer from getting soaked .

Never gave consideration to the shortcomings you mentioned about the wheels. I figured cart for no snow, sled for snow. I am tired of dragging and having some “dirty” meat that I have to toss. Saw this as a possible answer. Glad little squirrel will be hunting with me. He’s gonna know the joys of the drag!
