I have an idea: ask the guide exactly where he is planning to go and I'll go there tomorrow. That way you will have a really accurate scouting report

Well that was yesterday actually. I’m home today’s hunt went fubar . “ can you cut the dogs nails before you go ? “

Well they were long and the quick grew out with it , I’ve got blood plenty of times always an easy stop , this one was pouring out . I put him outside in the snow for 15 minutes nada.

Packed it with styptic , nothing , wrapped in gauze taped it up ,bleeding through a little  . He’s fine but the Mrs is not good at all in the smallest of emergency . 
 

She said aren’t you going , “ lol it’s to late ,and you’ll just text me about it still bleeding .”

I have quikclot and Combat gauze for packing bullet wounds , next step I’ll use that .

Back to where I bumped the big doe and bug buck yesterday. Lots of new tracks since yesterday and a pretty fresh rub. Probably my last hunt for the year. Hunting from the ground

Those are way up there along with "Bare Bows", but Belo was talking bow/xbow. Dennis Dunn is a true legend. I hunted the same areas as he did for Lynx in B.C. years ago. People forget he went to Harvard.
