Bucks rescued on Hemlock Lake

I wonder how long these two were tangled up, hope they survive.

The guy had his face right next to the antlers while trying to separate the bucks.  He could have easily lost an eye.  Took some big chances there.  The ice also looked like he could have gone right thru it in a few spots.  Funny how he was being dragged by the deer.   He had a cigarette dangling from his lips thru the whole episode.  LOL

I thought the same thing, one quick bob of the head and he would've had an antler in the groin. I'm happy to see he got them apart though. I really doubt the smaller one is going to make it though, he looked like he was on the way out. You never know though, they are tough animals.
