And where dose that dollar come from.... the employees, truck driver, warehouse operator, and farmer. So every dollar they pay in tax they get back $1.73? Oh and every dollar taken in taxes has already been spent and then some...

The woman was trying to feed her kids with public assistance money.  After they get fed, they'll go to bed.  Then the woman will drink beer with her friend, maybe get laid.    Should her friend not have bought beer?   Should he have just given her cash for sex?   Would that make you feel better?

 

Always amuses me how people get angry over nothing especially when they have zero information.   They make up a scenario in their minds and then shake with anger and get all high blood pressure all over.

And don't forget the free heat she is getting from H.E.A.P to keep her warm while she's getting laid to have more kids so she can get a bigger monthly public assistance check, and the free cell phone she is using that is paid for by taxpayers too.

the cell phones are the best.........I was speaking to an individual and asked her who her Cell Carrier was......she said "I don't know, it's one of those Obama phones".......and that's 100% true.

Then I bumped into my neighbor, while I was on neighborhood watch. After I put my gun away, and let him up off the ground, I asked him about the girls. Turns out, Obama gave them to him for his vote. I found out that Obama has been promising white teenage girls to blacks that vote for him. Where is the media on this story?

Though we can't be positive which government program the woman from the video is referencing without interviewing her, it does appear that she's talking about the FCC's Lifeline Assistance benefit. Owing to the fact that people generally need phones to apply for jobs and enroll their children in school, and elderly citizens need to be able to call their families and emergency services, the government decided in the '80s (under Ronald Reagan, no less) to institute the Lifeline Assistance program. In 1996, Bill Clinton signed the Telecommunications Act into law, which offered either cell phones or landline services to low-income Americans.

a lot of people here are making assumptions.  I don't I call it how I see it.  most the time I see those carts packed full with frozen food and junk food crap that's all per pound waaayyyy more expensive than staple foods like meat, potatoes, and veggies (real food requiring cooking).  be much easier to support themselves if those pushing those carts described made better decisions and had better life skills.

The 'dependence on the government' that's been created over the last 70 or so years is truly astounding. Whether it's food stamps or a job with guaranteed benefits and a lifetime pension doesn't really matter.

State and federal authorities are quick to punish anyone who tries to buck their system. Go ahead, try to start a business. Or even try to just be left alone.

Let me tell you I had a conversation that seriously pizzed me off...now I can not get into any specifics...because ppl know who I am and it's a ...local issue...but WOW!!!!!!!!some of the crud going on out there blows my mind ...and the fact that a person would just let what they do roll off their tongues with out hesitation...my jaw has yet to unclench...I wish the gym had a punching bag..........

When I was taken out of work permanently, it was a three battle even with a lawyer to get my disability. During that time we did not have enough money to cover all the bills, so I was getting food stamps. It wasn't much trust me. But, there were a couple times when I was getting food and my g/f was getting TP and crap like that and she would buy beer at times. So according to this thread, that makes us scum.

I have busted my ass to make a living since I was 16 until 5 years ago when I was taken out of work! I didn't ask for health issues! But life does it's will! I have never had a job that paid over $13 an hour. Factory work and warehouse work. In the few times I was inbetween jobs I would work through temp services to offset unemployment. I even did a one day job to clean up a garage for a refuse company that dealt with human waste. One of the trucks was left over night with a busted valve. Three feet of human feces had to be shoveled up. If Man-Power had told me what the job was in advance I would have said "F*** ***!!!". It was disgusting, but I did it to make a days wages!

So be careful who who call scum please.

Some of the people that are responding to this thread need to remember the old adage, don't judge someone until you've walked a mile in their shoes.

The point is that tax cuts for the rich also contribute to the deficit. At least money channeled to the poor is returned to the economy while most of those tax cuts get funneled into offshore tax havens or are invested in 3rd world jobs, thus putting even more American workers out of work.

Maybe he was living "within his means" and had his income cut by over 70% like mine was. If it wasn't for my wife's teaching income, which conserv-a-turds think is excessive, we would lose our home.

If conservatives are so concerned with preventing child births by those that can't afford to feed them, why are they doing everthing they can to make access to birth control harder for poor people?

does anyone really need access to birth control to stop having children they can't afford? I would think that's preventable regardless of income....Christ, I've been married for 25 years, have had sex for the entire time, never used birth control.....other than common sense, and only have two children!
