Well not really. Awesome truck but Loving the Jeep especially on sunny days going topless. Surprised at how smooth it rides lifted. And my father liked it so much, he bought a gently used (15k miles) one nearly identical after I told him it wouldn’t bother me a bit. Same year, model and color. So he will be using those tires I pulled off. Mine and his. Pretty funny IMO. This could get confusing.

As a parent our children's heartbreaks are harder than our own. I hope it works out for her. Have her google some of the famous Pro athletes that actually got cut form their High School teams. What set them apart later in life was their drive to succeed and honestly some do blossom a bit later. Carmelo Anthony, Michael Jordan, Orel Hershiser and one that might have even more meaning to her, Lionel Messi.

Well finally I got out on the water today! Ol' Wild Bill and I did good up at Saratoga! About 40 bass in the boat between us. I couldn't wipe the smile off my face! This is the best medicine I've had in quite awile!

I hope she makes it. But if she doesn't, while she will be disappointed, its also a great growth experience. How she responds is what is important and hopefully you can help her respond in a productive way. Continue to work hard and improve (to make that team next year - she is one of the youngest already so not really expected that she would be among the top 16) and accepting disappointment gracefully but with determination is what I would want to encourage. AS Culver pointed out, some failure can breed even greater success in the long run. And in the end, remind her, the credit goes to those in the arena (win lose or draw), not the critics as Roosevelt said.

I tried my hand at fixing up a set of sheds that I found a couple years ago that the squirrels had their way with. Really tough to match colors but I think they turned out pretty good. Before: the right side had several holes chewed into the G2 right below the split, the left side had the top half chewed to a thin sliver remaining and the beam had been worked over pretty good from the G3 to the tip. I didn't add any inches of antler, just basically filled in what the rodents had chewed off... Repaired version
