Isn’t a porterhouse a larger cut of t bone for the most part ?

You get more tenderloin on one side of the "t" in a porterhouse.....they both come from the same region of a carcass.

And most folks wouldn't know the difference or care.

Yes you are correct they both come from the short loin. The porterhouse has much more filet on it then the t bone does. As for not knowing the difference or caring there is a big difference in price between the two so it pays to know.

Mama made ramen from scratch and nailed it again. Strawberry basil scones. Time for bed as the turkeys await in the morning. 118f99d43b82e0be549011fa5e2a8d56.jpg&key=6a63f6077f8df4f10cca986c62222cae0172bb7e1abd65bd17d6104b76d9befb797a83b3679de52016dd587d9b7ebb68.jpg&key=c51c2d04f016135d964deb5ef5de946f77abbefbf4e44b1f3f777a7ea671ddf9
