Biggest buck of the year...

I saw a bruiser of a buck on a good buddy of mine's farm last week.  Over the weekend I helped move a stand and set up a camera hoping to get a better look at the big guy. Due to his hectic farming schedule my friend gets no free time this time of year so I've been checking his cam for him. Lo and behold the buck were are after showed himself this morning. Not much mass...but everything else looks pretty darn good!!!

This is a great buck. Looks like a 9, looks like left tip has a split making 4 on the right and 5 on the left.

Me too. Nets are for fish...I prefer the gross score as they give you a better measure of the amount of bone that deer grew.

incredible spread on that 9. I actually like the non-perfectly symmetrical racks. that crab claw gives him some character.

The g4 on the left side isn't really a deduction- it just doesn't get counted in the net score. It won't take anything away from the length on the other tines the way a nontypical point would. Beautiful frame on this buck, but I agree, mass is not his strong point.
