Why we get a bad name as Deer hunters.

My 6 year old was sitting on my lap at the computer and said Daddy let's watch some deer hunting videos.

I did a search on You Tube and this video came up. I did not let her watch what these two idiots were about to film. This is why we get a bad name out there. I know some of you will say, well they had to put the deer down.

But to video tape it in such a barbaric way. This goes too far as I'm concerned, if you want to associate with this video go ahead but you won't be welcomed in my deer camp, period.

F#$%ng idoits. I have had to put a deer down, but why would you video tape it and brag about it. It happened to me once and I felt so bad when I had to do it.  It stuck with me for a while.  These guys aren't hunters they are losers!!!

Look at the bright side.    It didn't go off wounded to die a slow painful death.  He finished it off. 

he damaged his hearing.  I would have used hearing protection for the 2nd shot.

At least the deer is dead,  it doesn't know the killer was unprofessional about it.

Yes I know a second shot was needed to dispatch the deer. If you wanted to save all the meat the head was the perfect place. But to video tape it in such a disrespectful manor is outrageous. I for one would not be associated with these individuals. The game I choose to hunt gets respect living and when dead, these jerks deserve no respect.

Blur --- Those two jerks showed little respect for the deer . The guy yanked it out like a rag doll . I know of no hunter that does that ! The PETA folks thrive on stupid stuff like that . Even after the 2nd shot the deer was quivering and the guy did nothing .

I love capturing deer hunting experiences on camera but the way these guys behaved is just way over the top disrespectful imho....not what we need in our deer camps. It all goes back to having the right mentors and influences while getting started in the shooting sports and hunting culture.

On a side note, while filming this season, I actually caught something similar on camera but the feeling and reaction I personally had to the spine shot buck and that of the humble hunter was night and day different compared to these "hunters"......The footage I have is pretty dramatic, and let me tell you, that moment really touched me as I felt privileged to be in the woods with him at that moment and to see that buck take it's last breath right under my tree.....I value my time in the woods and respect our game.

WOW ----- Just WOW... Can not believe these BILLIES video taped that and even put that on youtube for the world to see.

I mean what we do in the woods to finish the deer off as painless as possible is up to the discrepany of the hunter, however video taping and putting it out there to be viewed by others is f**king stupid. What gets me is the way the hunters carry on and comment about what happened is what kills me...
