Anyone ever have a CT Scan aka Cat Scan ?

I had one today to have my Kidneys checked out . It was weird . The technition gave me some iodine via needle . Damn ! Everything felt real warm quick and the boys felt like they were on fire . Then everything was fine . They won't tell the results and send the info to my doctor . I hope he lets me know soon .

I had a CT scan a couple years back and actually had an allergic reaction to the iodine.

When I saw that round thing spinning around , I thought of the move StarGate . I thought I was going to end up in another dimension or parallel universe !

I had one a bunch of years ago for a stroke. I was so preoccupied with the stroke crap that was scaring me to death, that I really can't remember a whole lot about it.

Yup had a couple .... its amazing how fast the Iodine warms up the body !

Had one a few years ago. As soon as they pushed the iodine in it felt like I pissed myself.lol  Everything from the waist down got hot instantly. Hope all is well with your results..

Just had a C scan about 3 days ago. Had the shot and got this warm rush throughout my body. Was then place on a table that went into what looked like a MRI machine that took pictures. Shortly after was at DRS.office nearby who had results.

Y add me to the list. On one of them, the tech didn't get things set quite right.  Most of the iodine ran down my arm. I was like hey issue here.. They had to stop the process and then they were like "Oh its OK, some made it in." Test kept going. I didn't trust the results.

I'm pretty sure I had a CT scan at some point in the past - I remember white machines and weird noises, but I was drunk a lot back then, so maybe I'm just remembering the bathroom at the club.

I have had a lot of them and ya i remember that feeling but the words to live by are if they let you go home theirs not too much you need to worry about.

They nailed that sensation! The chemo drugs I was on had a whole lot of other sensations that I would not rather feel again as well. But they did their trick. Been clean for many years now.}

Had one done before my open heart surgery 2 months ago ( there went the bow hunting for this year ) they found a groth in one of my kidneys, Went to the Dr. yesterday, they want to do another one but cannot use the liquid, so they are going to take an MRI to check it out futher.

I have had a few and hated the feeling in the "nether region". They have to sedate me for a MRI's, I freak out in the "Tunnel".

I had a MRI a few years ago and almost panicked . It felt like I was trapped in a conduit . I could feel my heart pounding !

I have had to many to count after cancer diagnosis and now every 6 months to check for any return....plus P.E.T scans also with treatment....and recent spinal M.R.I I wonder how much radiation from all these is really safe

Yup, that dye ....hated the feeling .Felt like the warmth started at my toes and quickly moved up my body . Being crammed in that machine and that feeling I did sort of wig out. Would be curious at what my heart rate was at the moment

I hope you are "stone free". That feeling the contrast gives you is one you will gladly trade for if you have to pass a stone.

Just had my second CT scan on Monday Eddie, thankfully, without contrast, so I didnt need the iodine. Got a 2.5mm stone in the left kidney and I just had surgery in September for a 9mm one. Hope your results are better than mine

You guys need to lay off the soda with all those stones. And 9mm holy hell that thing must have felt like you were giving birth
