corydd7
Any pictures of bear this year? This guy decided to mess with mom's garbage and gave her a heart attack one afternoon while doing yard work. I came over and put one camera out this is about 20 yards off a road. A have a lot of fawns on the same camera hmmmmmm

WNY-Hunter
I think this guy was passing through. Have never seen a bear or any sign of one in this area. Hasn't been caught on any other cams either.
Jeremy K
Is it really tricky to cook bear meat or just cook to a certain temp?
WNY-Hunter
I have no clue, the only bear I have ever taken, I turned the whole thing into summer sausage! Best I ever had!
glittergoat
Needs to be cooked well in order to kill trichinosis. Bears are notorious carriers.

corydd7
I've have had bear that is as tough as nails but also had "pulled bear" which was amazing. A good cook can make almost anything tasty.

Best luck I have had is to cook it raised. roasts on racks, steaks on a grill. Don't let it lay in the grease while cooking. I don't cook it to well even though it is suggested. I go medium. Of course I also eat ground beef rare. in steaks I like to go with a 50/50 mix of brown sugar and montreal steak seasoning. Place in a blender and pulverize it. rub the meat and wrap each piece in plastic wrap and place in fridge over night. unwrap and grill as normal. LET EM GROW
Quite a few pics here in 8P this year. Id have to do some digging to get to them. Somehow i manage to have a couple cams that still work after face to face encounters with the camera lol. Sow with 3 cubs several younger looking bears. 1 or 2 big boys..
