We kept 18 walleye today. We probably hrew back at least 10 that didn' make the cut.

Bunch of smaller fish today, daughter got a nice mutton snapper but it was a inch short. Snorkeled sombrero reef today. That was amazing, like swimming in a giant fish tank. Last day with the rented boat tomorrow, hope to get some more bags filled with filets.

Gotta love that liberal Erie limit!  I'm jealous.  Oneida is 3.  Nice catch and fish fry there.  Not much better than walleye.

Best part is this ,my buddy had to take off right away to drop the boat off and be out my way for a softball game . He called me to see if i could stop by the ball diamond and pick up 8 of the walleye the he had time to clean and fillet .

Boat ride mixed in with a 20 min troll...turned up a fish for each kid, then back to the cottage ! Nice day on the boat !!

That must have been full as hell in a kayak. It’s kind of like tubing but with a fish as the motor!

There is a kayak bass tournament on the lake today.

Big catch of the day. Moray eel. Got some keeper yellowtail snapper and a nice mangrove snapper. Wife had a real nice atleast 5ft shark on but it bit through the 100lb leader about 5ft from the boat. Wasnt planning on shark at the time. It was our last day with the boat, monday night we go out on a party boat so hopefully we get alot of tasty snapper then.

I'm jealous of you wooly, getting to take the kids out like that. They make fishing so much fun. Doesn't take long for the little ones to get the hang of things either. I like taking the little ones out ice fishing because there is usually lots of action, and always a chance of a nice one on a tip up. They love being in the shanty, and they love it when a flag goes up.

Am and pm runs a success. Launched tonight around 730-8. Picked up a couple then the sun went down and every rod caught fish. Was hard to keep the rods in the water ! Awesome night and had a buddy drive up to run the grand finally with me. Solid trip, headed home tomorrow !

 

Also took a bunch on the "patriot" a custom painted lure that I just couldn't pass up !

Just got this pic from brother. He works n fishes in Montana/Idaho /Wyoming from May til November each year. Purty little rainbow. I think it maybe the Madison river. He’s an amazing fly fisherman I’ve heard. I just plain suck at it.

I should've took the Treeguy trolling technique class.  Cause lmao I fished and trolled that same spot today and ....

Enough to fry but not as good as you guys.  Water was flat glass calm.  Got one trolling first 10 minutes then a struggle.  Lol

Heading out in the morning to Saratoga Lake for some bass. First time out with my boat this year! Will be fishing and not working, so even if I catch nothing, it will be a great day! Going with my lake property neighbor. Got exclusive hunting rights to his land for a fishing trip each year!

On Tuesday, taking my 14 year old grandson and his best buddy. That will be fun!
