Out glassing birds and setting my blind. 4 toms and a bunch of hens in the same place as the night before haleys youth hunt. I’m waiting till they head for the woods then I’m gonna set up in basically the same spot as I did For Haley. Looks promising for the morning!

My buddy tapped out. Looks like I'm going solo in the morning! 

Just got in from hearing at least one gobbling up on the ridge. That's were I'll watch the woods wake up.

Good luck everyone. I sat on the deck drinking some beers after dinner and heard gobbles in every direction. Not sure where I’ll head in the morning but I’ll probably head towards the 4yr old’s gobble “bill reference” but seriously bird behind the house sounds like an old boy I’ll probably chase him until I can lay on eyes on him.

Be safe and keep your head down until you see em flopping!

My luck I would trip over those friggin tie down lines in the dark. So far only staking down the corners and middle of each side works good.

I used To do that. I make Sure to watch out for them now.

I’m gonna park car at like 650am. walk in slowly and listen. Follow the sound of gobbles, spot & stalk, flush a big Tom and lead him with the shotgun and take him out.

I’m predicting 27lbs, 2” spurs, and 3 beards. Pics by 718am. Stay tuned!

this call is older than me. Maybe I’ll give it a whirl by 10am if I can’t find anything

First gobble of the morning 4:15 right behind the house! Rolling the garbage cans down the driveway! Maybe I should just stay home, and rattle em in with my garbage can call?

Gotta be honest,4am came real quick.  Get out of bed and there is my daughter who got up to wish me well.   Normally can’t get her up for school at 6:30.   Should have brought her.   Next year she is taking May 1 off from school

All settled, heavy fog and one other hunter. Thankfully I found him and let him know where my blind was. He asked if I minded if he set up next to me basically lol. I said sure, they were roosted over there yesterday and down there two weeks ago. He told me he hadn’t heard one here when he came yesterday. 

I’m gonna sit tight till later then take a walk away from my buddy lol.
