Nomad
2 doe, 2 bucks . Bucks were together, looked like a couple of 2 1/2s . Nothing close to being close . One small snort or blow behind me , I was standing with bow in hand release clipped to loop last 45 minutes , blow was right where I expected deer to come from . Idk, I had wind and its very thick between stand and blow , something alerted it . Tomorrow night it’s all out ,new stand on trail right near where the big ones bed and move through last light , East wind is only one that “ works” , slipping into the stand will be a challenge . Cant walk down trail and it’s thick on all sides. By trail I ,mean a ten foot wide mowed path between two thickets , big guys don’t walk the length hoping they get to me though . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Just got a few of him on my scrape cam when I checked it on the way in tonight. Also had this guy come by at 15 yds this morning. I would have been up in this stand but I was at home watching the kids while my wife worked an overnight...didn't see these pics until after it was too late. My wife is happy though cause I'm the designated babysitter now while she goes after this buck..;)

mlammerhirt
Good to get back on this thread again and see all the repeat posters! I’m out for my third hunt of the year sitting on the edge of a bean field. Not a great set up but didn’t have any stands here and there’s been a couple mature bucks hitting this field each night, including a beautiful ten pointer. Feels like a good night, good luck to all you other hunters out in the woods! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk The deer still hitting your beans once they brown up? Bolt action
I've got beans this year too. When I was out last weekend the fields were about half brown and half still green. Didn't seem to bother the deer much. It'll probably change soon though.
tarheel95
Out this evening for a quick sit post work in 3G when rain abated. No deer but two Tom's (or a small flock of two very large hens) roosted in the trees behind me at sundown. Scared the hell out of me when they took off. Good luck to all headed out tomorrow and congrats to those that connected. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

My activity has slowed dramatically in the beans.Sent from my moto z3 using TapatalkBeans and brassicas are the main attraction for the deer in my neighborhood. Not much action around clover or corn. I have some beans that are still greenish yellow and those get hit the hardest but they still feed right thru the brown ones. It will probably get quiet once it all turns brownSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

TheHornHunter
Saw ten deer. Three bucks, seven does. Most deer followed the script and entered the field 50 yards upwind. A doe with a buck following her snuck to within ten yards of me thru some thick shit but she eventually got spooked after about five minutes of trying to creep downwind of me. Buck looked decent in terms of antlers but I never got a good look at his body so I didn’t shoot him. The downside of ground hunting is they sometimes walk right into you and there’s nothing you can do but sit and hope they don’t see you... but man is it exciting! The other two bucks were two year olds and one of them chased some does around out in the beans for a few minutes. I’m not shooting does right now. I see new bucks every time I pull cards on any of my spots so I’m staying on the perimeter and trying to keep my presence to a minimum. Probably not going to get back out until Sunday or maybe next week. Work has been crazy busy and I haven’t even been able to put cameras out at all my spots!
