Bernie Sanders just dropped out of the race, which means Joe Biden will be the Democratic Candidate for President of the United States. I know that this thread will probably turn ugly very quickly, so I don't plan on checking it again. I plan on voting for Biden, I'm sure many of your plan on voting for Trump.  I just want to say I hope that the best candidate wins and that we can all find some way of bridging division regardless of the outcome of the 2020 election. Be well everyone!

Don't understand how any gun owner or avid hunter could vote democrat.I know Trump isn't easy to like for some people but probably the most important thing he did was appoint 2 supreme court justices.

I believe you wont be checking this again like I believe Chinas COVID stats lol. But I echo your sentiment

disagree, if you're a Trump guy you should know he has much better odds against Bernie than Joe. Doesn't mean he's going to lose now, but this is a tougher fight for sure. 

The election will hinge on where we're at in November with regards to Covid and nothing else. Those that hate how he's handling it, weren't voting for him anyhow. But if we're in the shitter, those fence sitters and swing votes will go the other way regardless of whose fault it is.

Don't understand how any gun owner or avid hunter could vote democrat.I know Trump isn't easy to like for some people but probably the most important thing he did was appoint 2 supreme court justices.If Hillary would have won and she appointed 2 supreme court justices it would have put the supreme court in the left's favor at 6 to 3.That would mean bye bye 2nd amendment.

The key word in your statement is avid which could be substituted for any of the following words also describing real hunters and shooters such as, fervent, passionate, ardent, dyed in the wool, true, impassioned, intense, vehement, fervid,  sincere,  profound,  deep-seated,  heartfelt.

The people that vote for Democrats are none of the above, like John Kerry who outfitted himself with a shotgun for a photo op hunt the people that say they are hunters and pro second amendment that vote Democrat are posers, the loss of the second amendment and the right to hunt in truth means little to them. Remember every single anti hunting-second amendment organization supports Democrats and Socialists, they would wipe out hunting and shooting and this board off the internet if they had their way. It is part of the dem's political platform!

I will amend my statement to the following, "I don't plan on checking this thread unless someone quotes me, at which point I will cast Biden-esque insults at that person for our mutual amusement". I would like to invite similar "Trump-ian" insults thrown at me, insults which can be easily attained by talking with your local 3rd grade boy :)
