Thank you for ruining my day! I'm grateful I got to see him in concert a few years back he was absolutely incredible and watching him saw his fiddle was incredible! The bow would just explode when he was playing and would keep tossing them out for a new one in the middle of songs it was incredible! A true legend not likely to be matched anytime soon of ever.

He used to do quite a bit of salmon fishing up this way and stay in Altmar.  Seen him in concert a couple times - always a good show.

My brother new him and Dickey Betts when he lived in Florida in the late 70's. My brother would go rattlesnake hunting with Betts.

Man that sucks! I seen him at the jamboree in the hills and he brought his grandson on stage, he must have been maybe 5 years old and that kid can play the fiddle!

My wife and I saw him a few years back at the Lewis County Field days. Great fun show, a very talented professional and gracious performer. It was the only concert we have ever gone to that my wife got excited about. 

Two of my very favorite songs: Long haired Country Boy and Trudy. Fire on the Mountain is probably my favorite album.

We've lost a truly good man, singer, song writer, and performer in Charlie Daniels. He was All American. Did so much for our military and veterans.

I've seen him in concert many times, over many years, and it was always a great show. Grew up with his songs blasting on the 8 track from my truck stereo. Sang and played his songs in countless dives, and around so many campfires.

RIP Mr. Charlie Daniels. Thanks for all the memories sir.

Saw him play at the Tunbridge Fair.  After the show we were hanging out by the grandstand, passing a flask around and Charlie came out for a few minutes and had a drink with us.  He was talented as hell, passionate and also a regular guy.  

I hope he is someplace peaceful.
