FWIW, I compared the teeth off a 7 or 8 year old buck my lease partner killed this year to a 4 year old I killed and couldn’t tell much difference to be honest. Maybe idk what I’m doing, but seems buck specific traits like what they prefer to eat would impact it quite a bit. My buck was mostly acorns whereas my buddies was typical ag diet. The only reason we know his deer was 7 or 8 is because a neighbor 1/2 mile away had good trail cam history with the deer back to 2016 and he was either 3 or 4 then 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
