This guy wasn't built for scoring but after 3 yrs of him on camera I'd gladly cull him from the gene pool. He's possibly the biggest bodied buck that I've ever seen on the hoof!

Had one like that last season I chased around. Was within shooting distance of him twice both times were as I was walking out in the dark. Good luck, hope you get him. It's like 2 deer for the freezer.

Update: he tipped the scales at 246 live weight and 195 dressed. Not a speck of fat on him so I'm certain he lost a good 25lbs over the past month.  He also managed to break off his G3 since Saturday night! His right brow was 8.5".

Gotta be from some long ago injury maybe?   Did you ever pass him years prior cause he was a half rack?  If so that worked out great!  Old deer, grew a big body and some horn on the other side

Brute of a deer! I passed a 1 point 1.5 yo last yr and had an encounter with a half rack this year 2.5 yo with a drop point on on the other side in the same spot. The drop point actually had the makings of 3 points , but nothing long enough to count as a point. Wondered if it could be the same buck. If so, and he lives 1 more year, and I could encounter him next year that would be cool. I like freaky deer.
