Starting to see ammo on shelves again

For the capital district team , Brian over at American trade and good in Latham has a nice section of ammo in stock. He does alot for gun rights in the capital district and can't stand our current and former governor.

I was surprised to see Hornady American Whitetail in .308, 150gr in stock locally (WNY). Maybe we're starting to turn the corner on this shortage..

Not for long im going to buy every round of 270 i see when i see it lol. Not going through that again.

Sportsman Warehouse in Rochester had a shelf full yesterday.. I saw .308s

Pretty close. In the past I'd usually grab it on sale for around $26/box. I think I paid $32/box the other day. The price per round went from roughly 1.30 to 1.60. I don't love the increase, but would rather pay the extra few dollars per box while it's available.

I got a guy that said he can hand load me some .243 Nosler Partitions in 100 grain for 70.00 a box , 50 pc min order..

Man that seems steep

I shot 2 rounds this deer season. 2 coyote down. But as far as i am concerned there isn't any such thing as to much ammo

I stopped in there roughly 2 weeks ago and asked about reloading. They said no but they had a sister store on central Ave that did. I can't recall which store he named.

That breaks down to $3.5/round.. I don't shoot premium factory loads, and I don't hand load, but that seems awfully high to me.

It looked like they were also stocking up on reloading supplies .

I rolled into cabelas yesterday and they had better stock than usual but it was still pretty bare. 9mm was still at an Insane price though.

This is what an ammo shortage in Michigan looks like. My friend is there this weekend and sent this picture. It really makes you wonder about what’s going on exactly in New York.

How much ? I’ve seen fmj at $17 online, and it’s $20 where I go . It’s interesting to see everyone’s pricing .
