Anyone Cutting Their Lawn ?

I cut mine 2 weeks ago before I seeded. Growing like crazy.

My backyard needs it but i spent the day digging up them nasty rose bushes that grow up under the siding , i never understood growing stuff just for the purpose of looking at it.

I should have done it today.  A couple more days and my wife will be pizzed off enough to do it.....................<grin>

I still have some areas of the lawn where a lawn mower will sink out of sight if I drive it there. Besides, the deer are still fattening up on it. But I think it will not be long before I will have to mow what I can. It's starting to look a little shaggy. I'm not looking forward to it.

Selling the house so I mowed before the open house today. It's growing for sure.

Holding out as long as i can. Definately hy next weekend. Need to put some Scotts down right after that too so i can tackle the crab grass that comes every year.

Tomorrow or the next day... I need to get it done because I'm leaving Wednesday for gobbler season in Ontario.

 

I HATE to do it the first time, because that means it will need mowing every 3 or 4 days until AT LEAST July....<<sigh>>....

Mine is just about ready for a cut. It's suppose to be in the high 60's on Wed. I think that will be D-Day.

Deer,turkeys and woody the woodchuck have been keeping mine down so far.

Ill probably give it its first cut this week. Been busy getting rid of the brush and sticks laying around from cutting down trees, etc.

Unless you hit a big pile of dog crap like i did , which easily covers the smell of the grass , yuck !

BTW Gobbler season start on Wed in CT, I feel a "sickness"  coming ...:-)
