Interesting friend recently trapped a 48 pound one ,not sure if he ate any .

He made it the venison nugget way. Bite sized pieces , little dry rub , dab of jalapeño cream cheese , 1/3 piece of bacon and cast iron hot n fast , finishing in oven

It’s like extremely good beef but less grainy do your self a favor get some and try it you will start trapping them probably best meat I have ever had

Like really good beef you truly couldn’t tell the difference in flavor but it’s soo much more tender
