Merlot
Added price reduction sure looks promising. Hopefully $2.50/ gal is around the corner.

virgil
Heating oil is coming down as well. Two months ago, I tried to get a locked-in rate for 3.29 and Slomins refused- they wouldn't go any lower than 3.39. I paid 3.15 per gallon for a fill up a week and a half ago from a discount oil company. Then, last weekend Slomins had a rep knocking on doors in my neighborhood offering a 3.14 lock-in rate. The day rate price has fallen to 2.97 as of today.
biggamefish
Elections are three weeks away only reason for the drop!!!!
greensider
from what i saw on the news they said its due to the increase in us production and the reduced need because the gas from fracking is being used
firehunter48
We seen a line of cars at a gas station in Chaffee on the way home from the cabin yesterday. I had to look twice when I sen that they were giving the gas away at $3.
Mr VJP
Took a trip to see my grand daughter in Central NJ and paid $2.85. Don't think the price will keep going down after the elections though.
First-light
Pretty much has to do with the price of Brent crude falling into the mid 80's per barrel. http://finance.yahoo.com/news/exclusive-privately-saudis-tell-oil-095520702.html
HectorBuckBuster
Wow, I I though I was getting a deal at $3.43 today LOL
Mr VJP
$2.81 today in Central NJ. The state of NY taxes gas about .50 cents a gallon more than NJ does.
Lawdwaz
$3.29 at Smokin Joes today.................cigars went up though.
jjb4900
this year is mostly local elections....I doubt many think their local level politicians have anything to do with it, and they don't.

ants
$3.29 near me (cash price, 3.41 credit) Check out Rocky's cigars. N. Salina St. in Syracuse. Huge selection, good prices and you can order right on line.
tuttled
$2.99 by me at school in Delaware. Saw $3.14 along the turnpike yesterday, which still isn't terrible. Definitely a lot lower once you are away from highway. I guess gas up now while you can! p.s. fellow cigar guys- cigarbid is a good website to use where you can get great cigars at low prices, albeit the bid process. Happy smoking
Woodjr55
I paid 2.85 at the Irving reservation yesterday on the way home. Stopped to pick up some dip for my buddy on Friday and it was 2.

Yea, I know I should order from JR but then I'd probably smoke more of the rotten things. And I'm only buying the Garcia Vega English Coronas so they're not a big ticket item. Another couple weeks and I may spurge for a little better smoke in anticipation of opening day gun season.

Dr. Honk
Gas near me is $3.30/ gal. I don't think the upcoming elections have anything to do with it. Anybody been looking at the stock market lately?
