Now that's old school. I've found one other like this and it's a good hunting area.

First time setting in this spot. Made a travel corridor 3 years ago and the bucks seem to like it. 50-60 rubs all through here. Had a fox squirrel jump onto my oak tree and I felt the tree shake, he is the size of a small cat. Only 9 doe so far but its early and its warm tonight. Hopefully I didn't have another bear visit this evening. Lol.

I've scene 2 smaller bucks chasing doe around already here in green county  In the fields ...I made a mock scrape and had a doe bedded not 15ft from it already ...the weather has them all messed up

young bucks are chasing does around already, i had a 2.5 yr old 8 pt around this afternoon in my stand, he was tempting but 60 yards out anyway.

What type of trees do you try and cut? And have you seen a benifit?

Heading out for my last ml hunt. Going to the state land. Until it gets to warm. 42 and no wind now.
