If I can be frank with you all, I hate Valentines Day, and always have. Its like a DUI checkpoint you either pass or youre toast. Having said that Im making all of my girls chicken marsala tonight its their favorite. Also flowers and cards, blah blah blah

Celebrated with my wife last weekend, out to dinner, etc.

Flowers being delivered to her at work today, and to the homes of both my daughters. I started that tradition many years ago and gets me huge props.

It was a hell of a lot cheaper back in the day, sets me back about $250/yr now.

cooking tonight for my MIL, wife, and daughter. shrimp and steak on the grill.  they got a basket of expensive chocolate dipped fruit last night.

I gave my gf one of those Edible Arraingement things. A crap load of chocolate dipped strawberries. My plans for tonight entail hanging out at the hockey rink for both of my kids practices.

Just finished painting the down stairs , off to dentist , then to,work at 4:00.

Wednesday's in our house are "no dinner Wednesdays" I always work til 7 , wife til 6 and daughter has ballet at 7:30.  But  I did buy a lobster tail and petite filet to make for my 93 year old dad when I get home and take it over with a baked potato too. Lost my mom a few weeks ago and after my folks had been married for 71 years I think today will be very hard on him  

Not real religious myself but today being Ash Wednesday is going to mess up some peoples dinner plans with no meat for sure

My wife and i have cut out all unnecessary spending until the cars and her school loans are paid off . Im praying that unnecessary spending covers valentines day as well or I'm in big trouble.

I know your not looking for sympathy but sorry for your loss. I know your mom and dad mean the world to you guys. I hope the TF family is doing alright.

She is flying in from an out of town work/play trip this afternoon. I have volleyball tonight and my local brewery is releasing a new beer tonight called "Love is a Soul Sucking Demon Porter" lol an Imperial Porter with Oatmeal, Cocoa, Coffee, Lactose and Peanut Butter. I'm thinking she needs me to grab a growler of that, too bad she is not a porter fan lol.
