Ok who else hasn’t made it out with the bow yet

Just wanted to see if I was the only one who hadn’t made it out yet? Will be hitting it hard this weekend pending no insane hot temps.

Same here, just got back from a long trip. Hopefully Friday is the day.

I have only been out once for a 3 hour sit Thursday morning.

Last week was busy getting supplies to rebuild my kitchen floor. Thursday I had a small window and took it.

I would have loved to have been out yesterday! It was cold with a hard frost here in the morning and I know the deer were moving! But, alas, 8 hours ripping up old particle flooring ( so much fun ), and putting new wood down. Today was putting down the under layment, and getting the tongue and groove in. Almost 12 hours of this crap. Still have a small area under a bay window to finish up tomorrow.

 

My back is screaming at me so bad It's giving me a headache.

 

I should be out later in the week for a couple hunts weather allowing.

I feel your pane, I did our porch roof last weekend , 2 days worth. tore it  down to the rafters,  . But I knew I had to get it done that weekend . My back and knees were screaming at me Sunday night .

I just got back from Alaska a few days ago and spent them visiting daughter, SIL, and almost 3 year old grandson. Headed to my place in 7M in the morning to start my hunting season.

We started up the boiler plant yesterday so it looks like little time off to get out there !

All in good time has been years since I've made it out the first week.  Kinda prefer to later, weather cooler, leaves off the trees, my time of year.

I haven't been out and don't plan to for a while. It'll be close to Halloween before I get time to. I'm ok with that, it keeps me from burning any of my spots out.

Saw 14 deer mostly doe with fawns Friday and a few (3) yesterday with a friend I am trying to get his first deer with a bow.  Still early like stated above the best is still to come but it was nice just to get out and see deer!

Haven't even looked at my bow yet.  Probably won't hunt until crossbow season. Just too much going on.

Nope taking my time lots of time off in Nov. and just waiting till it gets good and no big buck on cam yet
