I watched the show a few times and in those few times ,I have come to the conclusion that their family tree looks like a telephone pole.5 points

It must have taken him hours to go through the "live on stand" thread to find it. I'm flattered he is so obsessed with me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk5 points

Roll call, who's got their tap's in and cooking. I will be cooking outside tomorrow over the fire, I have been looking forward to this since we ran out of last years Syrup a month ago. It should be a good season but who knows, certainly is off to a good start! I'll snap some sap pic's tomorrow.3 points

One of the guys with whom I have coffee most mornings told me today that he has had several bluebirds checking out his nest boxes.. That means I need to get up to the property and clean out my appx 2 dozen bluebird houses and evict the white footed mice that have been spending the winter in them.3 points

If your paying that kind of money for a string and cable set up and HDX then they should set the rest and rough tune the bow. Those prices are high enough that they should come with some service.3 points

That's a good question. It comes down to reputation, and installing a lot of sets and being critical of what your seeing. When you start asking for names of builders there are a few that get high praise across the broad even from their peers. I have found your going to be hard pressed to find better built treads then Brethern and Ex-wolverine ( Tom Park ).2 points

I did zero of those things. I was not the one who posted your sons home in Ogden. I was not the one who posted your wife's name. Nor did I contact her. I was not the one who contacted your taxidermist. Get your facts straight! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

Been seeing Bluebirds for better part of two weeks. I'm waiting arrival of the Red Wing Blackbirds males to return. Usually around the 20th of March here, Sure sign Spring is near. Neighbor saw Turkey Vultures in the swamp. He's near sighted though, LOL.1 point

Stopped at ShopRite in Croton on Hudson today because they have a solid craft beer selection. Was planning on Oskar Blues or Left Hand, but decided against both. Decided against six point, lagunitas, Sierra summer camp, souther tier, and the many many other choices. Not sure why, but I got the urge to buy this! Haven't had it in years. I think because I really wanted the Yonkers Irish Red But couldn't find it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

Point proven. Biz knows what a joint is. LOL There are a lot of people who live the "Bush Life", and aren't on TV. I bet they would call us all candy asses for eating at a fast food joint.1 point

After setting up in an area that I have taken a few birds before, that particular day was a bust. The woods were as quiet as a Church!!!1 point

couldn't connect with a bird last spring but I did have this doe nearly jump in my lap had all these turkeys come in to my make shift blind during rifle season. it's the classic "turkey during deer season, deer during turkey season" scenario1 point

If a taxidermist tells you he will get it back to you in a couple months... look for a different taxidermist! Most likely he isn't professionally tanning the hide. I have never gotten a head back in less than 8 months. Some taxidermists might be quicker if not busy... but my experience tells me if they aren't busy... they probably aren't the best choice.1 point

Here's mine from my " turkey tree ". Oh the neat things we've seen and heard from these blinds And those leeks get stinky1 point

I look at it this way, unless you're afraid of the jihad invasion and stock market end of days that is always supposed to happen but doesn't then society isn't so bad. There are many issues we can all agree or disagree on that are troublesome. I'm a pretty experienced diy and I love the woods and I'm more interested in sitting alone in a treestand than going to a club. All that said, we can't enjoy a lot of what we do without societies help. Just sitting here typing these words there are thousands of people working jobs making it all work. I love movies, I love good beer and wine, I like internet porn lol. I enjoy toothpaste and clean clothes. I'm sure with enough work I could make my own whiskey, but how many books can I bring? How good is my imagination? idk... I guess I'm happy with life, so I don't understand the desire to leave it all behind.1 point

I missed this gobbler last spring and then killed him three days later. He roosted in the same tree and flew down in the same spot both times...1 point
