I had a chocolate lab growing up we named her Rosie. I currently Have sister and brother boston terriers "Bonnie & Clyde" and beagle mix "Bandit"

MAPLE of course! LOL Although my GSP is Molly Maple but we just call her Molly till the maple season comes. Thats the first place she runs to every morning during the sugaring season, straight to the sugarhouse lol. So in the spring she is known as Molly Maple to the visitors.

Dogs sometimes take on the personalities of their owners

Our dog came from Kansas City so we named her "KC". (Pronounced Casey). Easy to say and a nice play on words.

Once had a beagle named "Sunday" because we picked her up on a Sunday plus she looked like a butterscotch sundae.

I did have a dog that used to tear apart the trash, chew the remote controls, eat dirty diapers, even ate a buddy's set of false teeth, I renamed him "Dicky" just to get even. I used to crack up every time I had to call him.

My profile pic is with my yellow lab, full name: Big Sky's Dixie Belle of the South, but we just call her Dixie. Big Sky is my kennel name. When I get a male, I'm going to name him Orion, call him o for short. I don't use the "no" command so i hope it works out. I like Remington, shortened to Remy. I like mine to be something related to what my dog is doing, like hunting, but i also want something uncommon. Then again, I like the Eukanuba ad with the black lab named "Preacher."

My buddy has a female black lab named "Bella" (Italian for beautiful) I always thought that was a cool name for a female dog...

My dad had a champion flushing trial lab in the mid 60's named "Troop".. always thought that was different. My brother had a lab named "Shot".. I had a lab named "Jet" and a beagle named "Gunner".

Magnum (thats what she said) wooly. My buddys dogs named genny after the beer!! We got a couple name to add to our mix. I love the responses, it brings back some good memories of current and past dogs for all of us!!
