crappyice
I baked chicken today and threw potatoes in there. For some reason 2 potatoes exploedGotta prick them skins! That was always a fun trick my buddy would play when Grandpa Sal would get fresh chestnuts. We always needed to "cut the cross" in the flat bottom to allow the steam to escape. He would alway leave 2 or three "un-blessed" - the anticipation waiting for them to explode and subsequently watching Grandpa explode was like waiting for a bug buck to walk in the shooting lane!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Yeah I didn't know that. I have always wrapped mine and foil today I was just in a hurry and I threw them in there. I always seem to have issues with my potatoes one way or another. That seasoning was pretty good on the chicken

NYRturkeycall
Skirt steak and locally harvested clams by yours truly. Sauce for the clams was 1 stick butter, heavy cream, white wine, garlic, salt and pepper. Love the free seafood. At least 1C is good for something.

I think I have a similar set that came from my parent's house although I doubt it's genuine antler Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

A lot of the kitchen stuff I have as the "current caretaker" of the family cottage came from my Grandparents' restaurant that went bust in the depression... It feels like plastic. We've used it around the BBQ for generations.
