Wonderful date night at Remington tavern in North Tonawanda last night. Great food !

Rain held off and we pulled off pizza night.  Made 15 pies and only messed up one.

My wife made chicken parm meatballs tonight and dare I say I liked them more than meat-meatballs.

Blackened grouper , smoked chili lime wings and a Cuban shared

Sausage and Utica greens sandwich, Mac salad, apple pie topped with sharp cheese and bacon. My Dad used to eat sharp cheese with apple pie so this idea came from that. It was good.

Every family get together, EVERY piece of berry/apple/rhubarb pie that was served ALWAYS had a thick slice of sharp cheddar on the side of the plate. An absolute requirement. It's an unwritten culinary rule (at least it should be). Cleanses the palate dairy farmer style.
