Cover a cooled backstrap with mushroom duxelle and wrap in plastic wrap...back in fridge. Wrapped in frozen puff pastry Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

crappyice
I'd mess this uphttps://foodforhunters.blogspot.com/2012/02/buck-wellington.html?m=1I start here... and the mushroom are food processed and cooked FOREVER!!!Keeping the meat cold before putting in oven helps keeps it from drying out while the puff pastry cooks. I’ve never had the pastry cooked and the meat rare.YOU CAN DO IT!!!!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Steuben Jerry
It's easier than it looks and Crappy's recipe is a very good one. I tried to get a little artsy with my last prep. The triangle is supposed to be a broadhead.

goosifer
T-bone steak, Florentine style. Just some salt on it. No A-1 anywhere to be found.

goosifer
Food in Italy has been surprisingly plain, to the point of being bland at times. They like to enjoy the natural flavors of the fresh food. They also don't use butter in cooking or as a condiment. It's all EVOO. We're in Sorrento now, which caters to English tourists, and thankfully I've been getting butter in restaurants.

I haven't seen it in my fridge in many many years. I do get buttered bagel out sometimes tho. Fletch
Yea we don't use much butter either. I hate going to a "fine" steak house and they finish it with butter! Gross, I want to taste the fricking $60 steak I bought not slimy butter. Butter belongs on popcorn and English muffins.
cas
I'm eating near a stick a day. Doing that no sugar, very low carb, butter on near everything... thing. I'm putting a venison roast in the pressure cooker tonight... but I might be bad and add just a touch of BBQ sauce.
