What a hog....I mean the DEER, not you, Larry....<<grin>>...

My heaviest buck weighed 175 dressed...In over 50 years of deer hunting, the heaviest buck that I have ever actually seen on the scales weighed 185 dressed, and it was killed early bow season, pre-rut and was larded up with fat.. I have talked to reliable local people over the years who have killed or seen weighed bucks that weighed 200 +, but I have never happened to see one that heavy on the scales..Years ago,the deer contest that used to be run at the Killbuck Inn near Canisteo was usually won by a buck in the 200 lb class...

I hunted in Maine a couple of times, and weight rather than rack size is the big thing up there..The state even has a "200 Club" that records deer that weigh 200+ pounds each year, as opposed to NY State's Big buck Club that records them by antler size...

This was my sons first buck on a junior license opening day, firearms 2000.  I never heard 4 shells pump through a 20 gauge shotgun so fast in my life, LOL.  It was the evening people were stranded on the 90 near Buffalo in a lake effect snow storm.  It also dressed at 217 lbs..

My heaviest is 188, but I have a friend who killed 14 bucks in Alberta all but 1 of them dressed at or above 250 and 2 dressed over 300. They make the one at the top look small and that is a monster.

Those northern Canadian whitetails are big for a reason, to survive the extreme winters! And what can I say about the Lakosky operation you all don't already know? QDM gone wrong!

But seriously, my heaviest long bow buck...176 dressed, won three small, local archery contests with this eight point. Not bad for my neck of the woods. (I had a lot more hair then!)

I wasent around to see it but a guy that used to hunt the land I hunt. Shot a 260 dressed buck and they shoved a 120 pound buck in its chest to drag them out. Could be a tall tail but I've seen some heavy weights

My biggest was taken on Long Island in 99. It went 205 dressed.

My Biggest was 210lbs the drag was tough. A 400 plus is a pack out or 3 man drag LOL. I lot of meat on this thread, can't wait until opening day. I was wondering if anyone kills a big boy this year post it here lets see them Fat boys.

209 is my biggest. Big gap between that and the next one for me.

My Heaviest was this guy... dressed weight was 209lbs

After 41 hunting seasons,I have killed two over 200 pounds. A  209 and my heaviest, 212. Will have to take a picture of a picture to post later. Have a few in the high 180s, low 190s.

This is my biggest weighed buck... still not 200 lb. It was 196 dressed on the scale. Should have left the heart in to make it to 200. Caught him in a snow squall. Cut his tracks and ran him down.

My two biggest bucks were both taken during bow season.  My biggest NY buck weighed 200lbs dressed and my biggest buck was taken in IL and dressed out at 254lbs.
