Age this guy...

Just want to see what opinions are on this bucks age. Date of pics is correct

Hard to judge with no reference to any other deer.  Do you have a pic with him and some doe?  Or another buck?  Time of year it was taken.  Front shot?

 

No sag in the neck area, no slump in the back seems to be thin in the back leg area.

Neck meets brisket low, stained tarsals and he looks front heavy - my guess is 3.5.  No sagging in belly or back that would suggest older.

I've never seen or shot a deer with a black rectangle instead of horns so I'm perplexed on trying to age him

A little more front body mass than a two year old and a lot less than a four year old. So, three year old.
